| NCO´s artillery visor cap made of fieldgrey doeskin type wool with artillery wool piping. Piping denots service in Artillery or Assaultgunners branch. Zinc (applied later) eagle and aluminum wreath cockade. Inside is lined in a yellowish rayon mixed with the same color cotton. Lining and cap itself show hard wear and salty. Sweat diamond shield is period lost. The cap's band has some rips and tears due of use. Very nice battlefield worn example. Maker Wilhelm Stellrecht in Heilbronn, size approx 56. |
