| Senior Forestry sword Hirschfänger with ivory grip. P.O and Co. Plain, gilted brass hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina to the unadorned spine. White, nicely toned, genuine ivory grip plates show light surface wear with no cracks or chips, and are complete with three acorns with oak leaves and obverse without oak leaves grip plates. Blade showing light surface wear/runner marks in very nice condition and is complete with tan leather blade buffer pad. Blade etch features floral motif flanking a central panel with hunting scenes stag and doe and boar. Very nice leather scabbard shows only minor surface wear, upper and lower brass fittings are nice with aged patina |
