Military oath of a citizen of the USSR. Junior Lieutenant — Skorik Fedor Maksimovich, February 23, 1939. Unit name: Signals battalion in 21st Rifles Red Banner Division.

Skorik Fedor Maksimovich began the war in July 1941 on the Leningrad Front.  Captain Skorik, deputy commander of the Telegraph and Telephone Battalion of the 65th Detached Signals Regiment, is being awarded with the Order of the Red Star.   A personal combat feat or merit: «Captain Skorik, deputy commander of the Telephone and Telegraph Battalion of the 65 OPS during the offensive operations in the city of Riga, following the order of the chief of communications of the front in August-October 1944. Personally supervised the work of the communications center in Skyveri, Bauska, and Vestiena.  All tactical telegraphic correspondences were received and transmitted in a timely order and excellent work of Comrade Skorik contributed to the success of the troops in the battles for the liberation of Riga. Comrade Skorik deserves the government award of the Order of the Red Star. He finished the war with the rank of Guards Major, was awarded with the medal „For Military Merit“ and the Order of „Red Star.“
