M35 SD Wehrmacht Heer Steel helmet, camouflaged, 291 Infantry Division. Rough paint repainted. The helmet is painted with a fat layer of matt field-grey paint and brown tint spots over it. A right side shield (decal) has hand painted emblem of the 291st infantry division which fought at the Eastern Front. The helmet is small, most likely 62. The manufacturer's markings and helmet size are not readable due to the thick layer of paint. Batch number 27. The lines leather is very soft with traces of frontline use, the chin strap is very soft, the long part was probably replaced during the war and has the RB Nr markings on it.
