Wehrmacht M 36 tunic. Excellent condition. Good large size, about 52. The tunic was issued in 1940, as evidenced by the Erfurt E40 depot markings, and the manufacturer: Hugo Reitzel. The tunic is complete with shoulder straps of the 7th artillery regiment of the Wehrmacht, an early pre-war issue, with a hand-embroidered number 7. Sleeve chevron of an Obergefreiter with more than six years of service, a very infrequent rank in a Wehrmacht, and between the soldiers, the holder of this rank had a nickname: Kommi or Dummi, a communist, or a fool since this rank was given to a soldier who had served in the army for at least 6 years and who by any reason was not able to get more higher rank.   Sometimes this rank was given to the soldier who went against the idea of ​​the NSDAP party or got any other service penalties and has been downgraded in rank.
