Set of ID documents and awards documents belonged to one person, Estonian. Very interesting set! The set consists of:
— Soldier ID book, published in 1940, and issued to the Estonian soldier in 1942.
— ww2 Red Army ID, dated 1945
— postwar Military ID, in Russian and Estonian languages, dated 1946.
— ww2 award ID, dated 1946
— 8 certificates to different medals from period 1946-1985.
At the very beginning of the war the person started his service as a member of a destruction battalion in Estonia and then he was evacuated to Siberia (Russia), after that continued his service at the front line in signal corp. in rifle reg. and later as a musician in front music corp. Was wounded in 1944, Has few military awards issued during ww2 and also many postwar medals.
