M42 German helmet with Soviet propaganda art
M42 German helmet with Soviet art. The helmet has been kept in a museum of one of the military units in the Western Group of Soviet Forces. After the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Germany, it fell into the hands of a German collector. The helmet bears a highly artistically designed caricature of Hitler, accompanied by the inscription «We will crush the reptile with a powerful counteroffensive of the proletariat: compete for the best aid to the front.» Most likely, the previous owner, to whom this helmet came, tried to find a decal, which is why there are abrasions of paint on the right side of the helmet. Unique item — one of a kind work of art!
