Shoulder straps of the Infantry Untersturmführer of the 5th SS Wiking Regiment. The shoulder straps come from the family of a Finnish SS veteran. It is likely that similar shoulder straps were standard for this unit during the initial period of the war. The majority of seen shoulder straps from Finnish veterans had a cypher 5 on them. In our example, there was a clear trace of the cypher. You can install it back if you like, especially since it is not anything special and will fit from any shoulder straps for that period. The shoulder straps are made of black felt and are in excellent condition.
